Living in beautiful, scenic Norfolk, VA means being surrounded by activities, entertainment, restaurants and some of the area's best shopping. When you need to get in your retail therapy, you can easily venture out for gifts, groceries, home goods or a new pair of shoes (hey-we always need new shoes) with convenient options in every direction.

Our charming neighborhood sits at the center of shopping centers, malls, small boutiques and custom craft shops, and all of our favorite retailers are within 15 minutes from our front doors. Stock up on party decor at nearby Party City, grab groceries, flowers and home goods at Wards Corner or spend an afternoon strolling the tree-lined streets of Ghent in search of unique treasures.

You can shop until you drop, and stop for breakfast, lunch and dinner along your way. Most of our area shopping centers feature fabulous restaurants and coffee shops that make it easy for you to take your time and make a day of your favorite past time.

Get out there, enjoy the city you live in and get your shop on at any of our favorite shopping centers in Norfolk...

Wards Corner Shopping Center
We're just minutes from this historic, newly reimagined shopping center featuring your favorite grocery stores, coffee shops and more. When you need to stock up on healthy food to feed your family, you can choose between Kroger, Farm Fresh and Harris Teeter. Saturday mornings start off perfectly with a coffee from Starbucks (they also have a drive-thru), and you can walk across the street to shop for books at the Book Exchange before picking up a shiny new bauble for your loved one at Ben Cooper Jewelers. There are a host of medical facilities, banks and restaurants throughout the Wards Corner Shopping District, so take a weekend and explore everything good!

MacArthur Center Mall
Located just a short drive away in bustling and trendy Downtown Norfolk, you'll find stylish boutiques, big department stores, home furnishing stores and an Apple store inside this beautiful, 3 story mall named after General MacArthur. Take a saturday and start with coffee from their full-service Starbucks kiosk before stocking up on goodies at Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Nordstrom, Dillards, J. Crew or Banana Republic. You can stay all day and grab lunch before catching a movie in their top floor movie theater.

Ghent/Colley Avenue
Quaint, charming Colley Avenue in Norfolk's Ghent neighborhood is a perfect place to wander for gifts, small trinkets, chotchkes and a delicious meal. Local businesses abound along Colley Avenue, from Kitsch and A. Dodson's to Le Marche and Running, ETC. When you want to pick up vitamins or health products, stop by the Health Food Store, and balance out your good health behavior by grabbing a double scoop of homemade gelato from Strawberry Fields to cap off your day (hey-it's wholesome!).

Military Highway/Janaf Shopping Center/Military Circle
The stretch of shopping centers that run along North Military Highway feature a Target, Home Depot, Lowes, WalMart, Toys R Us, Party City, Food Lion, TJ Maxx and so much more. When you need the essentials, drive just 5 minutes to Military Circle, Janaf and North Military Highway and while you're there, grab lunch on the go at Chik-fil-A or get caffeinated quickly in the Starbucks drive thru.
